Islamabad is the world’s 2nd beautiful capital in the whole world. Islamabad is famous for its greenery, mountains, breath-taking scenery, pollution free city, very clean with some historical places that gets an amazing tourist attraction. Saidpur Village

Saidpur village is a very beautiful village located in Margalla Hills near Daman-e-Koh overlook. It is a renovated village and it has a museum too which shows stages of development of Islamabad when Islamabad was selected as the Capital City of Pakistan, from crossing Saidpur narrow streets you can also walk up to the Margalla Hills.

Daman-e-Koh

Dam-e-Koh is located in the middle Margalla Hills of Pakistan, it is a view point, you can view whole city of Islamabad, as the view is breath-taking. The place is also mentioned in famous book The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. Daman-e-koh is a very great place for picnic and on weekends many families come to Daman-e-koh to enjoy. There are many restaurants there.

Faisal Masjid

Faisal masjid is a must to visit in Islamabad, it is located on the foothills of Margalla Hills and the masjid can be seen from anywhere in Islamabad. It was built by a Saudi King Faisal as a landmark in Islamabad. It is the fifth-largest masjid in the world and the largest with in South Asia.

Rawal Lake

Lake view is an artificial reservoir, it was constructed to fulfill the water requirements in Islamabad as there was water shortage. Alongside Rawal Lake, there is Lake View Park where families come and  do BBQ, fishing and boating. If you want to enjoy boating and have a family picnic then Rawal Lake is a must place to visit in Islamabad.

Pakistan Munument

Pakistan monument is located on the western side of Shakarparian Hills, it is a national monument and heritage museum of Pakistan. It reflects on series of events of Pakistan Independence, it shows how the two-nation theory came into being. Pakistan Monument is a must visit place and it reminds you of the freedom you have now being a Pakistani.
