Setting up professional Email address is a great way to attract your target customers.These small things help in achieving success in this age of competitive world.If you are having your business online and have a professional website, it is important that you have a professional email address.
A business email uses your website’s domain and your personal name(nabeel@yourbusiness.com). It gives you a professional image in your market. So don’t waste more time and setup your professional email in 5 minutes by following these steps.
How to set up professional email address with your domain name?
To have your professional email account you need to setup an email account in your cpanel with your domain name. You can attach any name with your domain name server (demo@Website.com)
Step 1: Setup email address on cpanel of your website
Step 2: Configure cpanel account setting with your gmail account.
Step 3: Setting up professional Email as a default with your gmail account.
Step 4: Testing your professional email
Step 1: Setup email address on cpanel of your website
So at first go to your website cpanel. It will be https://yourwebsite.com/cpanel. Open the cpanel of your website.
Enter the username and password for your domain to login.
After getting login into accont you’ll see a window like this, it could varies form hosting to hosting . so you need to find the email account option and go to “Email Accounts”
When you click on email account, you’ll see a window like this.
It will display all those emails that I already registered on my domain. So now I want to register a new email account so click on “Add email account”.
When you click on add email account, you’ll see a window like this.
Form there you can create any professional email account name with your domain name.So in this case I want to make an account with name CEO@naisky.com . You can create whatever name you want.
So enter your email, Password. Then select Mailbox Quota. This is basically your email storage with this domain name. You can set it to unlimited or whatever size you want. But 1024 MB is quite enough in my case.
Then click on create account. After clicking on create account, you’ll see a success popup message on your screen.
You can view your email account by clicking ‘view’ or going into tab of email accounts.
Now you can see your newly created Professional Email account will appear here.
So our Professional Email account on Cpanel is created Successfully , So in next step we will setup Incoming and outgoing Server with your gmail account.
Step 2: Configure cpanel account setting with your gmail account.
For configuration I need few information from webmail to link with gmail account so click on “Access Webmail”
On clicking access Webmail , A new window will appear that will show certain information.
All we need from this window is “Mail Client Manual Settings”. You’ll need Incoming server and Outgoing server information to connect with your gamil account.
So in new tab open your gmail account. Go to Setting icon and click on Settings.
When you click on settings this kind of window will appear on your screen
Click on “Accounts and Import” tab. This kind of window will appear on your screen
Click on “Add a mail account” . This kind of new window will popup on your screen. Enter the full email address that you created. In my case it is CEO@naisky.com then click on next.
A new window will appear like this. Check import emails from my other acouunt(pop3) which is already selected. Click on next.
Then a new window will appear. Enter your full email address as username, Enter your password that you previously setup on Cpanel professional email.
So pop Server in this case in your incoming server. Go to cpanel access mail page that you previously open.
Copy that Incoming server address which i hide here and pop3 port is 995 and paste into your window.
For having Secure connection, Check on “Always Use Secure SSL…”
I also want to have label on my incoming message , so I can easily identify form which email I am getting this message. SO check this box, “Label Incoming message”
Then finally click on Add Account. So this kind of window will appear.
Now your Mail account is added. Now select “Yes , I want to be able to send email as …” Click on Next.
Enter the name that you want to show up when you send email to anyone, for me “”Nabeel Ahmed” is perfectly ok, You can change it according to your requirement. Then Click on next Step.
On clicking Next, you’ll see this kind of window.
So need to update the SMTP Server, Port and username and password.
So open the Access WebMail tab.
Copy Outgoing Server address which i hided and Paste it on SMTP Server textbox.
Enter full Professional Email as Username and same password that you setup In cpanel email account.
Change the port to 465.
Check secure connection SSL which is recommended
Then click on Add account
Then this kind of window will appear.
Congratulations, Your account have been Setup. A verification email will be sent to you. You can verify your account by confirmation code or by clicking the link given in the email.
After, Verification , your window will close.
Step 3: Setting up professional Email as a default with your gmail account.
Open your gamil account. And open Setting>>Accounts & Imports.
Make your professional email as default.
Check on “Reply from the default address”.
Step 4: Testing your professional email
So finally test your email by sending and receiving message.
So compose an email and send to anyone from your professional email.
You can manage account with your one gmail account. You can switch to any account, you want to send or receive message.
Congratulations you can now have your professional email address and access it from your Gmail too!
