Eating a balance diet can lead you to a good life and most importantly good health. Good health is the key to good life. As health is wealth. Now to have a good balance diet there are seven essential foods that are key to good life that are carbohydrates, fats, dietary fiber, minerals, proteins, vitamins and water. These seven essential foods are called nutrients, some are eaten in large amount and some are eaten in small amount. The nutrients that are eaten in large amounts are called macro-nutrients and the some that are eaten in small amount are micro-nutrients. 

Let’s categorize these seven essential nutrients. So the nutrients that are called macro-nutrients are called carbohydrates, fats, fiber, proteins, and water. The nutrients that are called micro-nutrients that are   minerals and vitamins.

Try to eat less oily, sugary and salty foods. Avoiding these food is good for your health and keep you mentally and physically fit. Eating five proportions of fruits and vegetables is good to eat in a day.  Starch food such as whole-wheat pasta, boiled potatoes, brown rice and white bread high in fiber. These foods are good in fiber and minerals.

Diary is also good for health and bones. Adding milk, yoghurt, cheese and dairy foods, are good in calcium that keeps your bones strong. You can also eat low in sugar and skimmed milk and also low fat that is having 1% fat. 

Adding proteins is also very essential, so what kind of food does have proteins. Beans, pulses, fish, eggs, meat and other proteins. Meat is a very good source of protein as it has minerals, proteins, iron, zinc, vitamin B, and main source for vitamin B-12. Body needs vitamins to repair itself. Beans, pulse, lentils and peas are good in minerals, proteins and vitamins but it’s naturally low on fat.

Oil is essential but try getting from unsaturated oil, eating too much saturated oil can lead to obesity, cholesterol and other heart disease. Avoid eating too much sugar can lead to diabetes, tooth decay, blood pressure, and heart disease and heart stroke.
